Based in Ditcheat, Maryland Farm lies in the heart of rural Somerset. The perfect combination of a mild climate, plenty of rainfall and fertile soil results in lush grass for our dairy cows to eat.

generation of farmers
Our family have always been farmers. Today, more than 2,500 of our cows graze pastures that have produced cheddar for centuries. We use their milk to make PDO-accredited cheddar, certifying that our cheese is made using local milk, traditional techniques and is aged to perfection for at least nine months.
We give new life to all by-products and nurture the earth through regenerative farming

We offer a range of rich, full-flavoured Cheddar varieties all meticulously crafted from farm to table, matured for up to 24 months and made with the highest quality milk.
100% of our milk is from a dedicated supply base we know and trust
Our milk is sourced from a 32 mile radius of our two sites, within a farmhouse cheddar PDO region.
Every herd are free-range and grass-fed
Our cows average 220+ days at grass. Herds are subject to Carbon Foot printing, our greenhouse gases are 20% better than national averages
